(NewsInsights.org) – Peter Schweizer has a long and storied history as a conservative watchdog in Washington, DC. Along with Steve Bannon, he co-founded the Government Accountability Institute (GAI) as a think tank and independent curator to guard against government corruption, cronyism, and misuse of public funds. On Sunday, March 10, Daily Wire’s editor-in-chief John Bickley hosted Schweizer on his podcast, the “Sunday Edition of Morning Wire” to discuss his most recent book, “Blood Money,” which was released on February 27.
Schweizer talked about China’s strategy of “disintegration warfare,” a plan to make the US destroy itself through social and economic divisions without China ever formally having to fire a single shot. According to the journalist, politicians refusing to engage with each other or China regarding this nefarious plan was the second aspect working in the communist country’s favor.
Bickley pointed out the meticulous research Schweizer documented in his footnotes, devoting more than 100 pages of notes to sourcing. To that end, the GAI president explained the provenance of many of his source documents. He told his host that sources within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the FBI, or the Justice Department (DOJ) leaked some documents while he and his research team obtained other information from hackers who released the information through journalists in Mexico.
Schweizer characterized some of the hacked materials as internal documents from Mexican police departments. He warned that because of the voluminous nature of the information, it made more sense to confirm information rather than search through the reams of data trying to piece together intricate patterns.
China provided the third source of documents for the book and helped complete the picture of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP’s) plan. He explained that they accessed those documents by spoofing a domestic Chinese phone account.
Moreover, China has based disintegration warfare on the Sun Tzu principle of letting your enemy’s power and momentum carry them to destruction, a strategic battle requiring fewer resources from the weaker opponent. Schweizer listed the fentanyl crisis as one example.
Schweizer explained that although it seems as though the crisis stems from Mexico as another result of our unregulated border, it’s really designed, run, and financed by China, which ships raw materials to and manufactures the narcotics in Mexico. Meanwhile, over 73,000 Americans per year overdose on fentanyl, many without ever realizing they’re taking the drug.
